On 22 November 2023, the conference titled "Compliance in the SME Sector" will take place in Budapest, organised by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) and the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers and think tanks in the Central and Eastern European region, including the V4 countries, the Western Balkans and possibly other countries in the region (Romania, Bulgaria) to develop the organisational culture of SMEs. The conference will focus on two areas: compliance, policy/rule making, setting and designing ethical standards within firms, addressing ethical problems and analysing attitudes towards sustainability.
