VP Communication 2021/22
Hello all! This application is to join our IgNITE Medical Case Competition team! IgNITE is a medical case competition started by students at the University of Ottawa but is joined by students across North America. The case competition aims to introduce students to the world of research and provide them valuable knowledge on research techniques and science communication. IgNITE provides opportunities for our generation to step into the scientific community feeling empowered and motivated.

Description: The VP Communications will be responsible for ensuring that all material put forth by the IgNITE team is bilingual. Moreover, in this position you are expected to translate anything that is posted on social media platforms as well as translating any email correspondences and lastly the case package (scientific writing). As the VP Communications you are expected to work in coordination with all members, but specifically VP External to increase the number of bilingual/french contestants.

The responsibilities of this position will be split between the 3 communication VPs

Specific Requirements:
- Fluency in French
- Experience with translation
- Translation of scientific work (for case package preference)
- Connections to French communities

Application period is March 26 - April 10th, 2021
Interviews will happen first week of may
Official executive term will start June 2021
