COVID Guidelines: All participants should be masked, remain 6 feet apart when possible, and avoid congregating with members outside of their households. Additional program details can be found below:
Saturday, May 15th from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm - Community Yard Sale:
The Community Yard Sale will run from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Any resident may host a yard sale, provided they register with City Hall. Yard sales may be held in the front yard for this one day only, but may not be held on or in front of the sidewalk or in the street. Registration is free!
Saturday, May 15th from 1:00 - 5:00 pm – Community Freecycle Event:
The Community Freecycle event will run from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, immediately following the community yard sale. During these hours, residents may place items that are unsold between the sidewalk and the curb. Items that do not fit in this area may be placed directly behind the sidewalk (between the sidewalk and the house). Items or groupings of items must be clearly marked as free for the taking, and must be marked "Freecycle Day." Any items not taken by 5:00 pm on Sunday must be removed from the front yard and disposed of or recycled via other means. Blue donation bins from Goodwill will be available for this purpose; they will be housed at the Service Garage (Delmar Ave.) until 8:00 am Tuesday.
