Teacher Innovation Grants
Every year the Napa Valley Education Foundation awards grants to caring, dedicated educators who develop creative and inventive learning experiences that motivate students and provide real-world learning opportunities. On average teachers spends more than $450 per year out of their own pocket ensuring that students have what they need to be successful. These grants allow teachers to be creative and bring their brightest visions to reality without having to sacrifice their own hard-earned dollars.

NVEF's Teacher Innovation grants will be awarded to individual teachers with up to $600 limit per teacher, and each teacher is limited to one request per year. For a larger project request, teams of teachers are encouraged to submit a collaborative proposal with a grant limit of $600 per teacher with a maximum of $2,400 per project. Teachers awarded a grant in the 2020-21 cycle are eligible and welcome to apply for another grant this year.

A description of your project in your application must include: a creative interdisciplinary unit showcasing real-life learning that is enriching, innovative, and unique. The unit must be aligned with core curriculum. NVEF's Teacher Innovation Grants will be open until November 13, and winners will be selected in November. The funds must be spent within the 2022-23 school year. If you are awarded funds, you will be required to submit a brief report on the outcome and expenditures of the project including photos and/or videos.

This grant application will close on November 13, 2022, at 11:59 PM. Paper applications are no longer accepted.
