Friday, March 17, 6pm in person, doors open 5:45pm
Join us for a family-style Shabbat with special focus on young children. Rabbi Gordon leads everyone in lighting candles and welcoming Shabbat followed by a simple dairy/veggie potluck.
Doors open at 5:45, candle lighting at 6:00. Berith Sholom kashrut guidelines require that a dairy/veggie meal (milchig or pareve, in Yiddish) contain no meat. We don't serve shellfish or eels either, which are not kosher. And no peanuts or peanut products, please, to fulfill the mitzvah of pikuach nefesh, saving a life. Setup will be taken care of but please note below if you can help with cleanup after the meal.
