The Gettysburg College Physicists for Inclusion and Diversity (GC-PIAD) strives to foster an environment of support and empowerment for students traditionally underrepresented in Physics including black, latinx, indigenous, other people of color, female, first-generation, LGBTQIA+, and others. The mission of this group is to attempt to counter the historical inequities that the field has perpetrated (and continues to perpetrate) through both explicit and implicit acts and institutional structures.
