Research suggests that Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and other connective tissue disorders are more common in autistic individuals. EDS is a group of disorders that affect connective tissues, characterized by skin hyper-extensibility, joint hyper-mobility, and tissue fragility.
