Canvassing for the Consulship
Read the primary source "Canvassing for the Consulship" (https://mrcaseyhistory.files.wordpress.com/2017/11/19-quintus-cicero.pdf) by Quintus Cicero, the younger brother of the more famous Roman politician and orator Marcus Cicero, in which Quintus gives Marcus advice on how to run for office and get people to vote for him. The consulship was the highest government position in the Roman Republic, and there were two, so it was something like a co-presidency. Check out the advice he gives and write as much as you want for the questions below.

I know some of this may be confusing, but that's ok. Try your best to understand as much as you can. The most important thing is that you read through the whole thing. I think, even if there are bits and pieces that you don't get, you will still be able to get a good sense of the whole.
