Parent Academy
In a typical year, we host 2-3 parent academies around topics that are important to you. Topics in the past have included Balancing Working from Home and Parenting (Children's Hospital), Social Media and Internet Training (Department of Public Safety), Cyber Bullying (SROs), Adolescent Mental Health (Dr. Kim Boyd, D49 Community Care), Best Practices for Learning at Home (Liz Wagers, HMS Assistant Principal), and more! We want to tailor these to your needs, interests and concerns. We may send an additional survey to narrow down the topics once we collect this data and find presenters for your interests!

In your field of work, are there any topics that you could present on for other families in the SCZ?

Sand Creek Zone SAC Meetings
School Accountability Committee Meetings (SAC) happen in every school in District 49. These committees are made up of staff, parents, family members and community members. The topics vary from month/month or quarter/quarter. This group meets to get your input on decisions that affect the students in the SCZ.  We host a Zone Wide SAC meeting each quarter and would like to know what you would want to see from this meeting!
