- Parent/Family Board Member: An individual who has a child enrolled in LCPCS and supports the mission of the school*

- Community Board Member: a community-minded individual who lives within the LCPCS service area (Hakalau Bridge to Ka’ala Bridge in O’okala) and supports the mission of the school*

*candidates cannot be an LCPCS employee, related to an LCPCS employee or provide contracted services to the school

NOTE: CANDIDATES NOMINATED IN THE ABOVE CATEGORIES MAY NOT BE LCPCS EMPLOYEES, RELATED TO LCPCS EMPLOYEES, OR CONTRACTORS OF THE SCHOOL. CANDIDATES FOR COMMUNITY-AT-LARGE MEMBER MUST RESIDE IN THE LCPCS SERVICE AREA. CANDIDATES FOR PARENT-FAMILY MEMBER MUST HAVE A STUDENT CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN LCPCS (INCLUDING KAUPE’A). ALL CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY.

Members of LCPCS Staff and Faculty: If staff or faculty member is a LCPCS parent or community member (residing within service area), the staff or faculty member may nominate an individual to the applicable category(ies).
Members in the Parent-Family category who have a child enrolled in the school may self-nominate or nominate another qualifying individual.
Members in the Community category must reside within the LCPCS catchment area. Individuals in this category may self-nominate or nominate another qualifying individual.
