To help farmers overcome barriers to their goals, the East Kentucky Farmer Conference is offering ThinkTank sessions for individual farmers the morning of Friday, February 28th. The sessions require a short application and will feature one farmer meeting with representatives from federal, state, and non-profit partners who regularly work with farmers to address issues, connect with resources, and overcome barriers. These will be 15 minute, intensive sessions where the farmer describes their idea and goals and resource providers work together to suggest strategies and resources to move forward. Based on farmer needs, resource providers will follow up with individual farmers. It’s a great way for farmers to share their ideas and challenges in front of people who can help them further their farm business! Only 8 spots are available, so sign up quickly.
