Welcome to my Nursery Survey for the 2024 growing season. I'm very interested to hear from anyone in Northern Nevada that wants to add edible and medicinal plants to their garden and/or create wildlife habitat. I only grow perennial plants, with a focus on edible and medicinal plants, pollinator attractors, and natives. I grow many culinary and medicinal herbs, native perennial flowers, berry bushes, native shrubs, and a few fruit trees (Apples, Pears, Asian Pears). What plants would you like to grow in your yard? Are there any that you really want but are difficult to find? You can view the current list of plants that I am growing on my
propagation spreadsheet in the Perennials tab and Fruit trees and shrubs tab for ideas.
Note: This survey is geared for towards residents of Northern Nevada, where I sell nursery plants. Please only fill out if your local enough to visit in person to purchase plants. Common Names for plants are great, botanical names are even better if you know them or can copy and paste from a google search. I do not grow annual plants (like peppers, basil, tomatoes) for sale because I only sell through Reno Food Systems or directly to consulting clients and Reno Food Systems grows their own annual seedlings for sale.
Note: I am not currently selling any Stone fruit (Prunus sp.) because I am not able to graft them during the spring in our climate. I would need to put them in larger pots and sell them for higher prices than I am interested in. This includes Peaches, Nectarines, Cherries, Plums, and Apricots. In the future I may grow out some stone fruit from seed. While these aren't exactly true to the grafted varieties, they can be pretty close. If you want Stone fruit trees, please see my Suppliers list USA spreadsheet for some mail order nurseries you can order them from. I recommend Burnt Ridge, One Green World, Raintree, Peaceful Valley, Fedco, and Cummins.
