We cohabitate in healthy ways and are able to support each other. We create an inclusive environment and not tolerate shaming or judgement in any way. All residents must be up front with Sweet Retreats about their mental and physical health from the moment they apply for residency and throughout their time at residency. It is important for each resident to have support outside of residency so they can co-create community while they are here. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

For your safety, all guests are required to tell us if and what medications are being taken and whether they are prescribed by a physician or someone else. Sweet Retreats does not tolerate the abuse of drugs or medicines. If a resident is found breaking our drugs & alcohol policy, they will be asked to leave without refund or credit.

We are expanding our arts and education programs for local children and prioritize free programs for kids whose families cannot afford these kinds of activities. Our goal is to be able to pay a full time educator to develop and run after school programs in and around Puerto Escondido. Read about our current Social Circus Program here.
