Want the opportunity to gain knowledge translation education and have your idea used by a knowledge mobilization network? 

Pulse, Dalhousie's Health Innovation Sandbox (https://www.innovatepulse.com/), is helping students learn more about science and health knowledge mobilization, while also giving them the opportunity to have their knowledge mobilization ideas implemented in the real-world. 

The Knowledge Mobilization Health Innovation Challenge allows students the opportunity to participate in a real knowledge translation problem, put forth by Solutions for Kids in Pain (SKIP). SKIP is a newly formed knowledge mobilization network, based at Dalhousie University and co‐led by Children’s Healthcare Canada, that seeks to bridge the gap between current treatment practices and available evidence‐based solutions for children’s pain in Canadian health institutions (https://www.kidsinpain.ca/).

​This Challenge consists of online (MS Teams) seminars in which students will learn more about SKIP and about knowledge mobilization techniques. Then, students will apply their knowledge and present their ideas to SKIP. The winning idea(s) will be implemented by SKIP! 

The seminars will run every Thursday from September 16 - November 25, 2021 (excluding November 11, 2021), from 3-4 pm ADT. The seminars will be exclusively online, using Teams.

- Have the opportunity to pitch your idea to a panel of judges
- Win prizes and have your knowledge translation idea implemented by Solutions for Kids in Pain (SKIP)
