Are you a community organization navigating a sea of evolving public health headlines?
You are not alone. We know community agencies and organizations have the reach and trust to engage citizens around public health messages, but they need support. The only way to beat fake news is to build diverse knowledge-sharing networks and invest in grassroots relationships.
We are building a network of community leaders who are navigating public health communications during this evolving pandemic response.
We want to connect community-level leaders with:
(1) communications and digital marketing experts
(2) social media strategists
(3) COVID knowledge-sharing networks
(4) researchers and evidence networks
In 2020 we held expert office-hours and launched a slack network. In 2021 we are building on this momentum.
Our goal is to share best practices as they evolve, support our collective skills development, and encourage networking to better coordinate and resource community level communications.
