Welcome to the Culinary Apprenticeship Information Form and Sign-Up sheet!
In this program you will be learning from local chefs Jesse Holmes (Stagecoach Tavern) and Zee Vassos (Number 10). They will be teaching you skills that will then be put into action at Railroad Street Youth Project's annual Culinary Dinner.
Since 2006, together we have honored over 350 young people completing apprenticeships and opening doors for job and career opportunities with local businesses. As our young chef apprentices begin their culinary journeys, we prepare to celebrate their accomplishments with good food, good people, and a good time.
At the end of the apprenticeship you will have built a skill set that will impress your family, friends, and any potential employers. Perfect for anyone who loves to cook, is thinking of pursuing a career in the culinary field, or is already there and wants to raise their game.
This spring we are offering two different apprenticeship programs:
-Advanced class for those who have some experience working in professional kitchens or are very
confident in their home-chef skills
-Beginner class for those who are new to cooking and are trying to learn basic technical skills
Both these classes will advance your overall culinary skills and will look great on a resume and give you invaluable connections in the Berkshire restaurant industry.
