Types Of Membership

1. Individual Membership: Any Muslim 18 years of age or older and residing in the Greater Washington Metropolitan Area can become a member of the Center upon paying the membership dues. This individual membership entitles him or her to one vote in the General Body Meeting.
      Individual Membership dues are $100 per calendar year

2. Family Membership: Any Muslim family residing in the Greater Washington Metropolitan Area can become a member upon paying the membership dues. This family membership entitles the husband and wife to two votes (one vote each) in the General Body Meeting.
     Family Membership dues are $200 per calendar year

VOTING:
• To be eligible for voting, you must be or become a member before March 31st of the
previous year AND also have your membership renewed the following year in time to
be considered a full year member. Example: You must become a new member before
March 31, 2022 and renew your membership 30 days before the General Body
meeting in 2023 to be considered a voting member in 2023.
• Per the bylaws to be eligible to be nominated for a BOT position, you must be a member
for at least 2 consecutive years and an active ICM volunteer for 2 years.
• Example: You must be or became a member before March 31, 2021, renew your
2022 membership and renew your 2023 membership 30 days before the General
Body meeting in 2023 to be considered a BOT nominee in 2023. This is in addition to
being an ICM volunteer for 2 years.
