Calling all Fairport Youth, Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade, to sign up for Fairport Youth Saturday Elementary basketball program! This instructional program will take place on Saturday mornings at FHS in the Main HS gym. This league will be FREE for all Fairport students! There will not be a charge for admission. Parents/ Guardians must accompany and stay with children if younger than 4th grade. Students in grades 4 through 6 can be dropped off and picked up at the conclusion of the league, but parents are always invited to stay.Ā Half of each session will consist of drills, learning basic basketball concepts and the other half will consist of practice 3 on 3 / 4 on 4 or 5 on 5 type games. FHS Basketball players volunteer during this program and help out with coaching during this league.Ā
Reminder! This league is FREE for all Fairport students. There is NO cost to attend. There are NO tryouts.

Are there any tryouts or official teams? No. This will be a practice and skill development program only. We do not keep score for any practice games. All games are for practice only - we make up new teams each week for scrimmages.Ā
Does my child need to have prior basketball experience? No. All skills and experience levels are welcome.Ā
Where does the program take place? Fairport Harding High School, 329 Vine Street - Main HS Gym.Ā
What should students wear? Athletic shorts, t-shirt, plus indoor court shoes/sneakers.
What should students bring? A water bottle and your own basketball with your name on it.Ā
Is there a charge for this program? This league is completely free for Fairport students.Ā
Which entrance should I use? Please use the new gym doors located off the long driveway entrance off Vine Street - which is located along the front of the school next to the football field.Ā
