It's so good I just keep coming back! Welcome to the fourth annual Costa Rican Hoop Intensive! This year I am running an intermediate level intensive (rather than advanced) to give artists I may not have taught yet a chance to sign up.
Come and spend a week with me in the beautiful Costa Rican Jungle immersing yourself in aerial hoop and the art of spin. For five days and six nights we will spin, c-shape and roll our way through a treasure throve of skills and choreography before relaxing by the pool and soaking in the sights and sounds of the Costa Rican jungle.
The full price of the retreat is $2800 (USD)*. However there is an EARLY BIRD price available of $2500 if a deposit is paid by January 31st.
To book please fill out the form below which includes a request for a video of your current level (see below for pre-requisites). Once your video is approved you will be sent a welcome email with instructions on how to pay the $500 deposit. Once your deposit is received your space on the intensive is secure.
All remaining course fee’s must be paid one month before arrival.

Pre-Requisites for attending
This intensive is aimed at intermediate students who have some experience with aerial hoop. I will not be covering the basics of aerial hoop during this intensive, instead I will focus on teaching my own spinning choreographies and combos.
Students should have the ability to get in and out of the hoop easily and confidently and be familiar with spinning. Flares are useful but not a requirement.
When booking the intensive you will need to submit a short video. Please don't panic, tahe video's are just to ensure everyone is at a similar level so that no one is struggling with the pace of the class or bored.
Even if you're not sure you are at the right level for this reatreat please throw together a video anyway and send it onto me. The worst case scenario is you may not be able to attend the retreat but if you don't send a video at all then you definitely wont be able to attend!
The video must contain the following:
- 1 - 3 mins of choreography (a string of tricks or sequences together) while spinning.
- Please include an entry into the hoop while spinning
You can use a pre-existing training or performance video as long as it contains the elements above.
Please upload a video to YouTube or Vimeo showing the above skills and share the link in the final question of this form.
