IMPORTANT PROJECT INFORMATION

The citywide analysis completed for the City of Detroit Parks & Recreation Strategic Plan (PRSP) identified Messmer Park as a Phase 2 priority for improvements. The General Services Department allocated funding from the current fiscal year's budget to complete renovations. The improvements must be designed by this summer for the project to be completed by Summer 2024 (minus construction/weather delays). The timeline for the project is shown below.
