Dear Parents/Guardians,

Ecole Mother Teresa students will be participating in our Terry Fox Run Tuesday, September 29th. We are planning to use our usual route and begin at 1:00 PM. The route will be well marked with extra supervision near intersections. Students will run within their grade, using staggered start times to minimize congestion. This is a very important event that we hold each year as it helps bring awareness and support to fighting cancer as well as honouring the memory of Terry Fox; a great Canadian hero. We also ask those who can, to donate $2.00, which we will collect and give to the Canadian Cancer Society.

We are also looking for volunteers for this event to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our students so please consider offering your assistance if you are able.

All students are expected to participate in this event but we need this form completed and submitted for each child on or before September 26, 2022. If you have any questions or concerns about this event please contact the school at (403) 887- 6371.
