What does safety patrol involve?

Our teams of 5th and 6th grade students help direct students safely across crosswalks both before and after school. They also help with putting up and taking down our flag each day (weather permitting). We work in groups of three on a one week basis, arriving at 8:20 a.m. and finishing by 3:30 p.m. We strive to be flexible while asking students who are involved to show responsibility by being at school when scheduled.

Permission

We will send out permission slips (either paper or electronic) in August to parents of all students who determine at that time that they would like to be on our safety patrol team.
