Greenfield Winter Carnival
Centennial Celebration
February 4th- 6th, 2022
Pre-Register your Cardboard Sled Today! All Pre-Registrations must be completed by Wednesday, February 2nd.
The Cardboard Sled Race will be held on Sunday, February 6th, 2022 at
Beacon Field (on the Corner of Sanderson, Gerrett, and Beacon Streets)
Check-in will be at 1:30pm, with the race beginning at 2:30.
All Pre-registered sleds must still check-in between 1:30 and 2:30 to receive their sled number.
RULES:
1. Sleds MUST be made of cardboard. Papier-mache, tape, glue, and paint are also permitted.
2. Sleds may not have plastic wrap, wood, or other bottom surface material. Tape is OK
3. Parents may assist in building of sleds
4. One entry per person
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
-Youth-Under 16 (single riders): Fastest, Most Creative, Zaniest, and Best Crash
-Group (2 or more all ages): Fastest, Most Creative, Zaniest, and Best Crash
-Adults- 16 and over (single riders): Fastest & Most Creative
-Corporate Challenge: Best Design
-Centennial Celebration: Best Use of Theme
-Overall People's Choice
NOTE: If no snow, bring your sled to the field. They will be judged on creativity and construction.
