Sailing Experience
In order to use our club pontoon or ideals, you must be checked out to prove your ability to handle reserved vessel. This can be done by a physical on-water test, and can be arranged by contacting our Waterfront Director at waterfrontdirector@yyc.org. A short summary of your sailing experience can be submitted below, and it is at the discretion of the Waterfront Director to waive your check out on a vessel. 

Once you have been cleared, you will be notified you are eligible to reserve boats online. There is a $250 annual fee for Associate Members and no fee for Regular Members.

Waiver
I wish to enroll in the Youngstown Yacht Club Boat Club. I understand that all sailors must wear a US Coast Guard approved PFD (lifejacket) while on the water. Further, I certify that I am able to swim, am in good health, and able to participate in strenuous outdoor physical activity. I understand that water sports like sailing entail an element of hazard, and I release and indemnify the Youngstown Yacht Club, its employees and Directors, the Youngstown Junior Sailing Foundation, the Sailing Instructors and RCR Yachts & its employees from all responsibility for injury or damage to me, my family and my guests or damages to property that are caused by me, my family and my guests, while on the Boat Club boats or on Yacht Club Premises.  I hereby acknowledge that I have read and affirm the entire contents of this application.
