I understand and agree to the expectations put forth by Clarke University and Residence Life to check in and move on to campus. This includes:
• Self-monitoring: If you or your helper(s) are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms within two weeks leading up to your move-in, you must contact your coach and Residence Life to schedule a different move on date and time.
o If a helper of a student is experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms at the time of move-in, the helper cannot enter the building and will not be able to help you move your items.
o If a student is experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms at the time of move-in, he/she will not be allowed to check-in and he/she will need to stay off campus until he/she is fever and symptom free for at least 72 hours.
• Helpers: Limit helpers to only two (2) people per student.
• Required Residence Life forms are online and must be completed before arriving to campus.
• Check in Process:
o Arrive to your assigned residence hall building
o Staff will be directing vehicles to predetermined areas
o Students and helpers will have a temperature and mask check and receive a wristband to indicate they are cleared to be in the building.
It is important to be cleared before you unload your vehicle.
o Your key and chip will be placed in your room prior to your arrival.
• Check in Expectations:
o A Mask and/or Face Covering is required while moving into and walking around inside the residence halls/apartments.
o Wrist bands must be worn by students and helpers during the duration of moving into and setting up your room.
o Work to maintain safe physical distance from others not in your group.
o Once the room is setup, please escort helpers out of the building.
