Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must satisfy criteria 1 along with criteria 2 OR 3
1.
Applicant for Scholarship must be of Indian Origin.
2. Enrolled in full time post-graduate or graduate or undergraduate or Associate Degree course study towards Engineering or Architectural program at an accredited institution, college or university within a radius of 170 miles from downtown Houston.
OR
3. Child/Grandchild of current ASIE members enrolled in full time post-graduate or graduate or undergraduate or Associate Degree course study towards Engineering or Architectural program at an accredited institution, college or university located in the United States of America. Please include name of the parent/grandparent on the form.
ASIE Scholarship Committee may request additional documentation as deemed necessary and will consider both merit and financial aspects independently.
Application Submittal:
Application form can be accessed online.
Completed application must be received by ASIE prior to close of business (5:00 pm central time) on Monday, October 21, 2019. Late submissions and duplicate applications will be rejected.
Scholarship recipients will be notified by email on or before November 1, 2019. They will be felicitated during ASIE’s Annual Holiday Event on Friday, November 15, 2019.

Applicant must have a Google email account to complete the application.
The Application Statement in the scholarship application includes the following four sections:
i. Academic Achievements and Career Goals
ii. Special recognition/s received in the last five years
iii. Professional, Social Service & Community Engagement activities
iv. Any additional information regarding financial necessity
NOTE: The online application does not save partially filled out application form.
It is recommended that you complete the above four sections first, save on your computer and then copy/paste into the online application for final submission.
