My Mission
Hi! I'm on a mission to help people improve their lives one habit, one belief at a time. We're creatures of habits. Thank you for sharing your smartphone usage habits with me. It'll help me better shape the content of my upcoming book on this very addictive technology that we're all so used to having access to. Can we do without it? How much of it can we do without? Can we use it without it controlling us? These are questions that bother me, thoughts that take up my mental space on a daily basis when I'm traveling around the city noticing people's noses in their phones. 

I care about addictive habits because mental health doesn't see race, ethnicity, age, or sex. I hope that together, we can end this loneliness epidemic we find ourselves in despite the various perceived channels and modes of communication. I believe some things are better old school. My Offer For You To Consider / Share With Others
I've deleted many apps from my smartphone, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Messenger. I don't believe in 'Insta' anything. I believe that true connection happens over time, in-person, over phone calls. We can see each other, hear each other. I believe that a more connected world will reduce mental health problems. The effort begins with us, you and me.

I keep my app notifications to a minimum. My system works better less stimulation and without constant distraction. Ideally, I'd like to throw my phone in to the ocean (meaning get rid of it completely). If I had friends and family living near me, that would  be possible. Until then, I'll go for walks without my smartphone, and do what I can to use social media and my smartphone and NOT be used by it.
