3rd, 4th & 5th Grade Chess Club Application

Chess Club is for both beginners and experienced chess players. We will teach students tactics, endgames, basic opening principles and strategy. Chess Club participants will play both informal and tournament style games.

Class size is limited to 20 students, therefore, selection will be done through a lottery drawing of all applications received by the deadline. The deadline to apply is midnight on April 5th. If your student is selected you will be contacted by April 7th. (If your student's name was NOT drawn you will NOT be contacted).

Dates: Thursdays, April 14 – June 2
Time: 2:20-3:40

• Late buses will be provided for anyone who needs it.
• Student pick up will be behind the school on the blacktop playground.
