500X Gallery is thrilled to announce our annual juried exhibition, EXPO 2022! This year's juror is artist MOM! We welcome all artists in the state of Texas, age 18 and over to apply! Entry fees help support 500X Gallery and a juror's choice cash prize!
ABOUT THE JUROR:
MOM
is an emerging multidisciplinary artist, active in Dallas, TX since
2008. Their recent work features a variety of mediums including vinyl,
latex paint, and ready made objects. Inspired by experimentation with
contrast, balance, and color, landscapes are given a new breath between
unexpected color stories and illusionary stripes. MOM is currently
featured at Sweet Tooth Hotel in Watters Creek and co-founded Dallas
artist co-op & shop, Trade Oak Cliff.
ENTRY FEE & PROCEDURE:
$30 entry fee for 5 artwork submissions

AWARDS:
Juror’s Choice Award - $150 cash prize
ELIGIBILITY:
EXPO 2022 call for entries is open to all artists over the age of 18 living in Texas. All visual media are eligible, including drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, video, and beyond.

Notifications of Juror's Choice: November 28, 2022
Artwork drop off: December 3, 2022 (12-2 pm)
Exhibition Opening: December 10, 2022 from 7-10 pm

Artwork pick-up: December 18,
2022 from 5-7 pm
