2024-25 Global Agroecology Pathways Program (GAPP)
Orientation & community building: September 4, 6pm (Pacific Daylight Time)
Course Dates: Sept. 11 - November 13, 2024 | Wednesdays at 6pm (Pacific Daylight Time)
Kenya Fellowship Dates: July 1 - July 30, 2025
Course Overview: A 10-week
certificate course that includes one online orientation session and 10 facilitator-led, interactive sessions based on agroecology topics where students learn about global sustainable food systems and social movements. A quarter of the curriculum will focus on guiding students to apply for a grant/fellowship to sponsor their participation in a one-month global fellowship opportunity with MESA's global partner NGO, Grow Biointensive Agriculture Center of Kenya (G-BiACK), based in Thika, Kenya in July 2025. Kenya Fellowship Overview: 4 weeks of training at G-BiACK and local community based organizations learning sustainable, biointensive farming methods. Includes housing, meals, and local transportation. For more a more detailed fellowship overview, please read

Program Cost:
- Full Fellowship Program (10-week course + 1 month fellowship in Thika, Kenya during July 2025): $3,950 (does not include airfare)
*This pilot program is subsidized by MESA. Limited, partial, need-based scholarships available for full Fellowship.
