Group Reservation Request
**PLEASE NOTE: At this time, the Louisiana State Museum is accepting field trips and group reservations of 50 people or less at the Cabildo, Presbytère, New Orleans Jazz Museum, and the Louisiana Civil Rights Museum, and groups of 15 people or less at the 1850 House. Larger groups will be asked to split into smaller groups and stagger their entrance times.

All visitors are encouraged to wear masks while inside the Louisiana State Museum and should try to maintain six feet of social distance from other visitors.

Complete this form to schedule a student field trip or an adult group reservation at one of the Louisiana State Museum locations in New Orleans. Please make reservations at least one week in advance, if possible. Our Education Coordinator, Katie Trevino, will respond to reservation requests as soon as possible. At this time, groups are limited to 50 visitors at the Cabildo, Presbytère, New Orleans Jazz Museum, and the Louisiana Civil Rights Museum, and are limited to 15 people at the 1850 House. If your group is larger than 50, we will ask you to split into smaller groups and stagger your entrance times.

Student groups (K-12) are free and one free chaperone is admitted for every five students. Additional chaperones will be charged admission. A minimum of one chaperone for every ten students is required.

We recommend at least one hour to visit each location. The Cabildo, the Presbytère, the 1850 House, and the New Orleans Jazz Museum are open Tuesday - Sunday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. The Civil Rights Museum is open Monday - Sunday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. The last group admission is at 3:30 pm. We are closed on Mondays, Mardi Gras Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and some holidays declared by the Lieutenant Governor's office (varies).

We recommend at least 1 hour at each location. If you are requesting a live virtual field trip, please select "none." The Cabildo, the Presbytere, the 1850 House and the New Orleans Jazz Museum are all located a walkable distance from each other in the French Quarter, but the Louisiana Civil Rights Museum is around a mile and a half away so you will need to add some travel time between LCRM and our other locations.

GUIDED TOURS
Docent-led tours are offered of the Cabildo and 1850 House with advanced registration through Friends of the Cabildo. Please indicate below if you are interested in a guided option and we will follow up with you to schedule the tour. There is a $25.00 fee for guided tours of the Cabildo (including Spanish Heritage Tours) and 1850 House. All other visits are self-guided.
  
"Drawing Connections: A Guided Architecture Sketchbook Tour of the French Quarter" is intended for individual classes (maximum of 25 students) and is offered to grades 4 through 12. Groups should reserve at least two hours to complete this program, which involves walking and standing for the duration. Participants will be outside for the majority of this tour, so inclement weather will affect availability. There is a $25.00 fee for this tour.
