Join us for a trip around the world! Share your culture and your enthusiasm with families at the Iowa Arts Festival.

We are looking for dedicated groups or individuals willing to share information about another country and provide at least one activity or demonstration that teaches people about that country and its culture. This is a great way to promote the cultural diversity of our community!

Our Global Community will take place on Sunday, June 5th from 11 AM - 3 PM. Booth set up begins at 9 AM. Booths will be on the downtown Iowa City Ped Mall near Washington Street. Booth presenters should plan an activity for approximately 300 people.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

1) Decorate your booth to show something unique about the country you're presenting. Example -- China had a mini "Great Wall" around their booth one year.

2) Summer of the Arts will provide a 10’x10’ tent, 1 table, and 2 chairs for your booth. Due to budgetary restraints, we have a limited number of tents available.

3) Entertainment will take place throughout the day on the Ped Mall Stage.
