Westford Chamber Players is offering an exciting chamber music summer program for students in Westford and the neighboring towns. The summer music program is designed to help student musicians to develop their musical and ensemble skills and to foster an appreciation for classical music. Daily musical activities include supervisee practice sessions, chamber ensembles, theory and composition classes, and musical games. A concert will be on the Friday of each session. Students of all instruments are welcome!

Three Weekly Sessions:
Week I: July 17 - 21
Week II: July 24 - 28
Week III: Jul. 31 - Aug. 4

Sample Daily Activities:
8:30 Drop-off and Warm-up
9:00 Morning chamber rehearsals
11:30 Lunch and outdoor activities
12:30 Solo Workshop
2:00 Afternoon chamber rehearsals
3:30 Musical theory and composition
4:30 Rhythm games and music fun facts
5:00 Pick up

Video Audition: A video recording (up to 10 minutes) is required for placement, including 2 contrasting pieces of your choice and 2 scales representing your current level of achievements. Not required for WCP members.

Once registered, you will receive an email from WCP with instructions of payments and audition recording submissions.
