Agenda details:
In addition to an update on the "state of the Network," the morning session will feature a presentation by Dr. Paul Glassman and a panel discussion about the solutions that Network members are implementing to improve equitable access to oral health care across Maine. Attendees will then have the opportunity to move about and discuss equity and community-based care with Network members engaged in those areas.
The event will run through lunch, with multiple options for the afternoon learning sessions:

Shifting to minimally invasive care – a conversation with Dr. Paul Glassman about minimally invasive care methods, their role in the oral health landscape of the future, and a hands-on demonstration of Silver Diamine Fluoride
COHN 101 / Get to know the Network – a brief presentation on the history of COHN opens a listening session, facilitated by members of the COHN Steering Committee, regarding ways to engage with the Network
Expanding the oral health workforce – a small panel followed by a Q&A during which Oral Health Industry Partnership (OHIP) members share progress on new training opportunities and pilot programs to strengthen dental career pathways
2:15pm – 3:00pm – Join one of the following:
Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) in the field – an exploration of community settings where COHN partners are actively using this tool in practice
Oral health advocacy at all levels – a workshop on advocating both for oral health care in your community and for broader oral health policy with dental providers, medical providers, community partners, and elected officials
Snapshot of the Maine Dental Connection: Maine’s virtual dental home initiative – a conversation about the evolution of this Network initiative, a progress update on the HeadStart pilot, and a preview of the website and toolkit COHN will publish later this year
