headspace Armidale is recruiting for new YRG applicants!
We are searching for young people that are passionate and creative and wanting to help improve the mental and physical health of young people in the New England. 
Being a YRG member provides you with a platform to be heard and advocate for young people in the New England Region. 

about the role
being a YRG member there is a range of different tasks including:
  • leading a project or event 
  • website consultation and development 
  • research and evaluation of headspace services 
  • creating media posts 
by getting involved you will:
  • have the opportunity to have your say about what you believe young people in our area need 
  • have opportunities to upskill yourself 
  • meet and work with other likeminded people 
  • make a positive difference to youth mental health 
who can apply:
  • anyone young person aged 12 - 25 years
we want you to apply if: 
  • you have had your own experiences of feeling depressed, anxious or other mental health issues. 
  • you have had a friend or family member who has had a mental illness. 
  • you passionate about and are interested in mental health issues.
