Community Input on the Centennial School District Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan

This year, The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) is requiring districts to have a Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan based on the Ready Schools Safe Learners (RSSL) Resiliency Framework. The document can be found here: https://www.oregon.gov/ode/students-and-family/healthsafety/Documents/Ready%20Schools%20Safe%20Learners%20Resiliency%20Framework%20for%20the%202021-22%20School%20Year.pdf

The Centennial School District is seeking your feedback to the DRAFT plan at https://www.csd28j.org/continuityofservicesplan for the following areas: mental health needs, communicable disease management plan, isolation plan, mitigation strategies, and accommodations for children with disabilities.

The comment period is open through Monday, August 23, 5:00 p.m. Health and safety remain top priorities as we plan for the reopening of schools this year. We appreciate and will use this feedback to inform revisions to the plan.

A final plan is due to the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) by Friday August 27, 2021.
