From the information provided by Ringette Alberta and AHS, there are new restrictions this year due to COVID-19 related to how many cohorts a player and a coach can be a part of. In the past, there have been coaches that have coached multiple teams in a season; unfortunately, at this time, this won’t be permitted.  In the survey, there is an opportunity to list all the divisions you are interested in coaching and then rank the order of your preference.  This will be used in determining how many available coaches we have for each division and level.

Due to the changes this year please ensure you are committed and available to coach. As the rules and team level caps stand right now there will a reduced and a limited number of coaches permitted per team. Coaches are not able to participate in more than one cohort. This includes coaching a different team, reffing and playing a sport as a participant. We encourage all interested to register but preference and consideration will be given to those who can meet the current AHS and RAB guidelines.

Please note at this time we are only considering head coaches and assistant coaches as the current recommendations do not have allowances for on-ice help or junior coaches.

For those interested in Managing please note current guidelines do not include managers within cohort.

Once teams are selected and staff placed all current COVID/Safety rules will be reviewed.
