The National Institute of Standards and Technology will host a virtual workshop on measurement-based approaches for authenticating 5G hardware. The workshop will assess the state-of-the-art, identify unmet needs, and explore industry-led adoption paths. Attendee's input will inform national policy and strategic planning, guide new discretionary research, and foster interagency and industrial partnerships. The findings will be summarized in a NIST Special Report tentatively planned for public release in August.
