Citizen Participation Sign-Up
The Raymond School Board welcomes the opportunity to hear public comment and allows time for this purpose at each regular session meeting under "Citizen Participation." To address the board, please sign-up below. Each individual has up to 3 minutes. A group of individuals may combine their time (up to 10 minutes maximum) with one spokesperson for the group; individuals who wish to combine their time also need to sign in below. The maximum time allotted for citizen participation per agenda is 20 minutes.

Because Board action and discussion are limited to previously published agenda items (RCW 42.30), the board, superintendent, or district personnel typically do not engage in direct conversations or give feedback during the meeting. After hearing comment at a meeting for those items not listed on the agenda, the Board Chair may reply that the board will take any remarks under advisement, or he/she may refer questions or comments to staff for follow up at a later date, if needed. To "take under advisement," may also mean that the item may be included on the agenda for another meeting and made public.

In the interest of time, order, and respect to others, complaints or charges against employees are not permissible during public comment. Such must be addressed to the superintendent in writing, in accordance wiht District Policy 4220.

The sign-up will close 2 hours prior to the board meeting.
