The FMC Leadership Academy will prepare spiritual leaders for a successful future in church leadership. Courses are open to leaders and anyone interested in a leadership position at First Met. Each course lasts 4 weeks. Some of the key components of the academy are leadership preparation and development.

Spiritual Disciplines and Ethics
In order to be an effective Christian leader, developing and training the soul in the things of Christ are necessary. Participants will explore disciplines required of leaders (e.g., prayer, fasting, worship, meditation, study, tithing, legacy, etc.) to ensure growth in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. This course will cover God’s revelation of proper conduct and behavior in personal and social relationships, and ethical decision-making at First Met. Contemporary issues relating to ethical problems and Christian living will be discussed. Other topics of ethics will include the use of technology and social media for the Kingdom. Proper protocol, policies and practices for First Met Leaders will be covered.
