IdahoSTARS CDA Incentive recognizes your expertise in early childhood education and your commitment to the field of Early Childhood Education. The Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credential™ is the most widely recognized credential in early childhood education (ECE), and it is a key stepping stone on the path of career advancement in ECE. IdahoSTARS is providing a one-time $500 incentive for eligible child care providers who have earned their CDA credential.*

Eligibility:
     +  Current, approved CDA Certificate or Renewal Certificate must be uploaded to the provider's RISE account
     +  Must be in PDS with a verified Level of Education
     +  Incentive Status must be Eligible or Academic Scholar

*If you do not yet have your CDA, but are working toward your credential, contact your regional IdahoSTARS Child Care Resource and Referral Center to learn how you can earn a $500 incentive for CDA Prep-Work.
   
**Is your PDS Level 1 - unverified? Upload proof of your highest level of education in RISE before applying. If you don't have your HS diploma, or need help please contact PDS@idahoaeyc.org.


To receive a cash incentive, you must have a verified/approved W9 uploaded to your IdahoSTARS account. Checks will be sent to the address on file on your RISE account, a charge will apply for returned checks due to inaccurate addresses.

Receipt of over $600 of financial incentives within a calendar year requires Idaho AEYC to issue you an IRS Form 1099 and may affect your income reporting and could have tax implications. Please consult a tax professional if you have questions.
