This month's journal club will be held on Monday, November 29th from 12-1 pm! For this month's topic, we will be focusing on opioid addiction.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have changed the format of the journal club. Please see below:

Prior to the session, participants will be sent an article pertaining to the topic. Participants should read and annotate the article in preparation for the session. During the session, facilitators will provide discussion points for participants to engage in. Potential discussion points may relate to study design, statistical methods, strengths/weaknesses, and future applications.

The objectives for journal club include 1) improving scientific reading and critical appraisal skills, 2) promoting professional development through small group participation and communication, and 3) promoting knowledge of recently published literature.

Due to limited capacity, in-person spots are available on a first-come, first serve basis. Virtual participants will be sent a zoom link.
