WPI-GWU Draft Bylaws - Open Comment
Since we won our contract last August, the GWU Organizing Committee has been working to enforce our contract and setup a plan for how our union should be run going forward. As part of this we've been working to create Bylaws, which lay out structures for how we will collectively make decisions, elect representatives, and handle the day-to-day business of keeping our union strong.

After careful deliberation our Bylaws Committee has developed a draft set of bylaws and we want your help to make them as good as possible! We'd love to get your input on things you like/dislike, parts you find confusing, or things you'd like to see change. Please take a minute to check these out and share your feedback below.

This form will be open until June 1st, 2024, at which point the bylaws committee will summarize everyone's thoughts, make appropriate changes and then present the revised version for discussion at a hybrid General Membership meeting in late June.

Feel free to reach out to an organizer in your department or email info@wpigwu.org at any time if you have any questions or thoughts you'd like to share. We hope to put the final version of our bylaws up for ratification by an electronic ballot vote by the end of July, and will have more info as we get closer!
