This practical one hour session will focus on ways to promote reading for pleasure at home, which is the best way to promote Literacy.

Paul Macdonald liaises with numerous schools- teachers, parents and students- building reading cultures, developing reading programs and supporting literacy initiatives. This session will focus on the current (and rapidly evolving) reading landscape, highlighting strategies for promoting reading for pleasure at home as well as highlighting top current picture books, chapter books, fiction, graphic novels and more.
