The Federation will need enthusiastic, interested men and women, from any member of the EUROPARC Federation across Europe. We therefore encourage everyone to consider being part of the exciting work of the EUROPARC Federation.

Please note that a member cannot nominate a person from within its own organisation.
If you/your organisation, as a member of the Federation, have identified a suitable person (from another organisation ) then a)  check their organisation remains a member of EUROPARC (we can do that for you too) and b) please seek the approval of the individual, then complete the nomination form (this form) and send them the "Candidate  Form for Council" to complete (https://forms.gle/ykCkooEjhz3yJEp96).

Please think carefully about who you wish to nominate. Members do not need any special qualifications, but the governance requirements of running an organisation like ours mean that Council members have to bring along more than just a commitment to the EUROPARC mission and an interest in serving.  

Check out the relevant documents available on our website (https://www.europarc.org/?page_id=18442&preview=true). That will give you all the information you need and should give you some pointers as to what we are looking for in a Council member.

So if you are interested in taking up this amazing challenge and opportunity you/your organisation, as a member of the EUROPARC Federation, need to seek a nomination from another member.

Please complete a separate form for each person you are nominating and for each position (e.g if you wish someone to be considered for a role as a council member AND as president then you should complete the form once for the person as council member (this form) and a second one for the nomination for president (https://forms.gle/Rt7yPmGfAsdzgQmZA).
