VSSEC - Robotics Mission to Mars
Take on the role of an Engineer or Scientist in Mission Control to direct a real Mars Rover! This program is designed to give students an experience in robotics, geology, and teamwork which is required to successfully manage a robotic rover on the surface of Mars.
Students will complete an online preparatory program, primarily in geology, and come together in Mission Control at VSSEC to take over the management of a rover on Mars for a 2-hour mission. This free program is supported by the Victorian Government Challenge and Enrichment Series and for Victorian Government schools.
