Detroit Dance City Festival's Kids Dance Camp

DDCF's Kids Dance Camp focuses on our belief that dance is for everyone. This interactive, 6-day dance camp gives children aged 3-13 in our community an opportunity to explore their creative instincts, expand their imaginations, and develop life skills like teamwork and self-discipline. Throughout the first five days of camp, participants will work to create a short dance that will be performed on the final day of camp at our outdoor "Summer Stage" event. All family and friends are invited to enjoy this free performance, and to cheer on our dance camp participants as they share what they have learned. With a variety of movement activities, challenges, and fun, innovative choreography, Kids Dance Camp will help kids of all ages find personal growth and achievement through the art of dance.
