Transforming Fears

Framis produces a new participative performance about Transformation for the CO-HABITATIONS Project. After collectively constructing a postbox, everybody is invited to write and leave their fears on a piece of wood. Thereafter, we will transfer the fears to fire with the conception of fire as an ancestral cleaning process. The ash is used to dye wool and woven into the outer facade of the Klimpavillon, which is an evolving textile installation called  "The Structure of Desire”.

The performance will be held in Wilderplatz

The antidote serves as a means of addressing our fears and finding relief or resolution. By incorporating a specific gesture or daily affirmation into our routine, we engage in a deliberate practice that allows us to acknowledge and confront our fears, ultimately releasing some of their tension.

Das Gegenmittel dient als Mittel, um unsere Ängste anzusprechen und Erleichterung oder Lösung zu finden. Indem wir eine bestimmte Geste oder eine tägliche Affirmation in unsere Routine einbauen, führen wir eine bewusste Übung durch, die es uns ermöglicht, unsere Ängste anzuerkennen und uns mit ihnen zu konfrontieren, um schließlich einen Teil ihrer Spannung zu lösen.
