What I think this would be like:
We haven't really done any film work at Hilltown Youth before but it's my major at school and it's something I'm really passionate about, so if you have any interest in making movies this is a great time to get started. Film is a very collaborative industry and because of coronavirus, we have constraints on our movies because we can't collaborate in person. But at NYU they tell us that constraints are a great source of creativity, which I really agree with.
The way I envision this would be one on one Zoom lessons where everyone will write and create their own film. We'd do workshops checking in on each of the different aspects of filmmaking and developing an idea, shooting it, and editing it. We can pay extra attention to any aspect you're particularly interested in. Assuming different people are interested in different roles, I also think it would be a great idea to more extensively plan a larger project that we could actually make as a team when the pandemic is over. I'm really excited about it and I think if you're interested in film you should totally get involved with this.
