Gina Covello of Habla Language Services will be comparing and contrasting our predominant culture with our Mexican neighbors. You probably know we differ on our concept of time, but do you know the why behind it? Learn what to expect culturally when interfacing with our Latinx community. What are the special holidays, food, and expectations? Because language is such a big part of their culture, you will be learning some basic greetings and niceties so you can have a brief conversation and maybe get invited over for café! This class will be highly interactive. $20/person.
